Duane Allen Dow, 81, of
Clearwater, FL, formerly of Kenosha WI, died May 7, 2011.
He was a HUGE fan of golf and
poker. He traveled around the world and his family gatherings always came
first.
He was a veteran of the army during
the Korean War.
He was Materials Manager at White
Welding in Kenosha WI in the 60's where he designed and successfully
produced the locking bars that are currently used by many companies
internationally for their shipping containers. He received the title of
Vice President for his great accomplishments.
Retiring to Florida in the 70's, he originated the well known retail
business in Johns Pass Village "The Bronze lady" where he represented Red
Skelton and many other greats.
His greatest love was his wife
Bernice of 62 years, whom he met 65 years ago on April 6, 1946.
He was preceded in death by his
father, mother and 1 brother and 1 sister.
He has 3 living brothers 5 adoring
children Tim, Jan, Terry, Lyn and Bob,
13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
